£200 funding towards your TEFL course
What is ILA Funding?
ILA Scotland (Individual Learning Account) is a government scheme to help pay for training courses, whether you want to improve your career prospects or just learn something new.
ILA courses offer Scottish residents the chance to train at greatly reduced prices. TEFL Scotland is an ILA approved training provider, meaning you can get £200 towards your TEFL course through a simple application.
4 Simple Steps to £200 of funding
1. Phone us up on 0800 9 888 200 and choose a course date
2. Order your ILA pack and fill it in when it arrives: ILA Funding Pack
3. ILA will approve your funding and send you an ILA number. Phone us up and tell us what it is.
4. We’ll enter it into the system and ILA will send you a token. Send the
token to us or take it with you to the course.
It’s so easy to apply and your funding will be approved if you meet the following criteria:
• Over 16
• Earning under £22,000
• Resident in Scotland
Who uses ILA Funding?
We find there are two types of students who apply for ILA funding. Either:
1. You haven’t decided if TEFL is for you and you just want to dip your toe in the water. If so, our weekend course at £199 will be fully covered by your ILA Funding and you won’t pay a penny of your own money.
2. You are serious about teaching abroad , may have chosen a destination and possibly even have a job lined up. It’s important to you that you have the best possible TEFL training and have a competitive TEFL CV. If this is you, we suggest you put your funding towards one of our combined courses as follows:
150-hour Premier TEFL Course:
ILA Scotland funding £200: Your contribution. £229
140-hour Premier TEFL Course:
ILA contribution £200. Your contribution. £189
130-hour TEFL Course:
ILA contribution £200. Your contribution. £199
120-hour TEFL Course:
ILA contribution £200. Your contribution. £159
120-hour Premier Online Course:
ILA contribution £200. Your contribution. £129
Many of the employers we work with are requesting 120-hours of TEFL training and above as a qualifier for their jobs and having this level of training will give you the most competitive CV.
Whatever your situation, we are privileged to have such a fantastic scheme to help us improve our skills. It is only open to Scottish residents so make sure you take advantage of this great funding opportunity.
